Build a Niche Store Review Update

by admin

May 2011 Update -

While BANS is  still available, there are much better ways to build affiliate sites. While I am not into promoting products anymore, (I’m too busy building affiliate sites for myself! ) I do recommend  following a proven blueprint or business model instead of blazing down an unknown path with no guidance.

I personally use the tactics in the Elite Niche Research course to find low competition niches with great products to promote as an affiliate. I have created a number of money producing affiliate sites that sit at the top of Google as a direct result of what Andrew Hanson teaches in this course.

As for building the actual sites, I use Wordpress for all my sites now. It’s free, and most hosting companies offer easy installation through your cPanel.  As for what to put on your site that will drive you visitors to click and purchase through your affiliate links, I am currently using Matt Carter’s methods in his course Rapid Profit Formula.

As for driving traffic to your websites, there many different methods you can utilize. Almost all of my traffic comes from the search engines. There is tons of free information on the net about SEO. I don’t use any one SEO course, but the Rapid Profit Formula course I mentioned above has a great section on how to get free traffic from the search engines. Another good place to start for free information is the Warrior Forum.

So there you have it. And yes, those are affiliate links to the courses above. If you do purchase one of them, it is up to you whether or not to give me the commission. :-) Both courses are relatively inexpensive (both under a hundred bucks), and a downright steal if you actually put to use what you learn in them.

—————————————————————————————-

It has been some months since I wrote my review of Build a Niche Store (BANS). I thought I would update the progress with two of my BANS stores. The top one is the same store I showed you in the original post. The second is less than two months old, and it is pulling in over $300 a month, all via organic traffic.

The stats look different because eBay left cj.com and took their affiliate program in-house, calling it eBay Partner Network, or ePN.

Those stats are from August 1st to August 25th, not even the whole month! I blocked some of the info, because I do not need to create any competition, obviously.

So there you have it, stats from two of my BANS stores making over $1,000 a month. I am not BS’ing when I say I set it and forget it with these stores. After the initial keyword research and store setup, I literally only update or tweak the stores once every month or two. If you pick a good niche, and choose your keywords properly, with a little SEO work you can be at the top of Google, Yahoo, and MSN extremely fast, and stay there. I do not pay for ANY traffic to my BANS stores. All my traffic is organic. BANS is very search engine friendly. You can even cloak all the affiliate links by simply clicking on a check box in your admin area.

With the remaining stores I have setup, I truly have set up a nice passive income, all thanks to Build a Niche Store.
